Te Henga Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

A rich, intensely flavoured Sauvignon Blanc that proves a versatile partner for many dishes.

Region:
Marlborough

Winemaker:
Adam Hazeldine

Recommended Food:
Pleasant on it’s own though it makes a nice partner for fresh fish served with a summery salad.  Also worth trying with smoked salmon frittatas.

Recommended Cellaring:
0-4 years

Production Notes:
The grapes are crushed and pressed upon arrival. To enhance the varietal flavour expression.  Fermentation takes place in refrigerated stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures using a variety of yeasts. After 2 months on lees the blend was assembled and bottled.

Tasting Notes:
The aroma is gooseberry and cut grass with underlying tropical fruits. The palate is soft, mouth-filling and juicy – good fruit intensity with red apples and melon standing out. Well balanced acidity and herbal notes combine to make this a delightfully refreshing wine.
